The announcement follows months of speculation regarding Nova’s strategy, which includes moving its top talent into competing time slots. Specifically, Creasey will break away from his previous collaborative format to embark on a solo journey after five successful years working alongside Tim Blackwell and Ricki-Lee Coulter.
On a recent episode of Perth's popular Nathan, Nat & Shaun breakfast show, Creasey hinted that something big was on the horizon. Just hours later, he confirmed that he is indeed going solo, a move he celebrated with his trademark humor: "I do love a bit of change; variety is the spice of life in my world!" He further joked about the chaotic state of the world, quipping, "I guess the bosses figured the world is already on fire. Let’s just pour more gasoline onto it and see what chaos ensues!"
Creasey’s roots trace back to Sydney, but he grew up in Perth, where he began his career with Nova’s street team before moving to Melbourne to further his comedy pursuits. He playfully mentioned that renovating his apartment in Melbourne was a clear indication that he wouldn’t be heading back to Western Australia anytime soon.
